GREAT first rehearsal! This is going to be a lot of fun if tonight is any indication of how the year is going to go! Thanks for being there! Please mark Feb 3rd and 4th on your calendars (thinking high schools are on Saturday but will get more details before next week's rehearsal) for the Dunlap HS Jazz Fest. Also, Feb 11 for the Evanston Township Jazz festival (that will be a LONG day but you will hear a ton of groups, and some great musicians.

Welcome to Jazz Ensemble 2011-2012
Thanks to all who auditioned for the Jazz Ensemble. Please check this site regularly for updates and info related to the band. Looking forward to the first rehearsal! Also, my email address is listed at the top of this site. Please feel free to have your parents communicate with me through that email as well as yourselves.
There is one change to the potential dates for performances that was published in the informational letter. Due to the timing of Spring Break we will not be planning to attend the ISU Jazz festival this year on March 23/24.
